Tours and a private guide in Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is a handy base for trips along the southern coast. Nearby are sights worth setting aside a day or two for.
Where to go
- Nessebar β the UNESCO-listed old town, 10 minutes away.
- Burgas β the seaside park, museums, salt lakes.
- Pomorie β mud therapy and salt pans.
- Cape Emine / Irakli β for nature and quiet.
Group or private
Group bus tours are tied to a schedule and a big group. A private guide or a custom tour is more flexible: your own pace, a route built around you.
How to choose
Check what's included (transport, entry tickets, lunch) and the guide's language. Agree on payment on completion.
What you can book
Guides in Sunny Beach and Burgas offer walking tours of the town, day trips by car, private itineraries for a family or a group, wine and food tours, and a walk through Burgas's Sea Garden and out to the salt lakes. Tours run in English, Bulgarian, Russian and Ukrainian β say which language you want, and the guides who lead in it will answer.
What the price depends on
The price follows the length and distance of the route, the number of people, whether you walk or go by car, the language of the tour, and the entrance fees and tastings along the way. Guides send a quote with a programme and a final price, so you compare what is included, not just the sum.
A few tips before you book: give the children's ages if you travel as a family; ask whether entrance fees are included; in summer choose an early start because of the heat; and say what you have already seen, so nothing is repeated.
Common questions
How much does a guided tour from Sunny Beach cost? It depends on the route, the length and the number of people. Guides send a quote with a programme and a final price, and you pick the one that fits.
How do I find a guide who speaks my language? Write the language you want in the request. The guides who lead in it will answer β English, Russian, Ukrainian or Bulgarian.
Can a guide plan a route just for us? Yes. Describe what you want to see and how much time you have β the guide will propose a programme.
Who provides transport on the tour? It depends on the quote. Check whether the guide comes with their own car or you travel in yours. If transport is included, ask whether it is a licensed carrier.
