Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Helply BG (the “Service”, “we”) is the personal-data controller on the helply-web-app platform. For data-protection questions, write to support@helplybg.com.

2. What data we collect

When you create a request through the Service we collect:

  • Name — to address you;
  • Phone — to connect the selected provider and to confirm the request by SMS;
  • Email (optional) — for notifications about new offers;
  • Task description, city, budget — to share with providers;
  • Technical data — IP address, user-agent, UTM parameters (if any) — for analytics and abuse protection.

3. How we use data

  • we pass the task description, city, category to providers so they can make offers;
  • contact details (phone, email) are shared only with the provider you selected — after they pay the contact fee;
  • we send SMS codes to verify your phone and updates on your request;
  • we analyse aggregated metrics to improve the Service.

4. Who receives data

Your data is received by:

  • The selected provider — only after you tapped “Choose” and their payment went through;
  • Technical subprocessors: Google Firebase (storage), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (SMS), SendGrid (email), Lemon Squeezy (payments). Each processes a limited set of data strictly to perform its function.

We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties for marketing.

5. Retention

  • Open requests and bids — until closed or 30 days;
  • Archive of completed orders — 12 months, for dispute resolution;
  • Cancelled requests — deleted after 30 days;
  • Access logs and technical data — up to 90 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR / Bulgarian data-protection law)

You have the right to:

  • obtain a copy of the data we process;
  • request correction of inaccuracies;
  • request erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict processing;
  • lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Bulgaria (CPDP).

To exercise these rights, write to support@helplybg.com. We reply within 30 days.

7. Cookies

The Service uses only functional cookies (session, preferences). There are no marketing cookies or trackers.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords to our servers are hashed. Database access is limited to a small number of staff with two-factor authentication.

9. Policy changes

We publish material changes on this page at least 14 days before they take effect.
